Federal judge dismisses former Trump supporter’s defamation lawsuit against Fox News

On Friday, District Judge Jennifer L. Hall dismissed the defamation lawsuit against Fox News for a second time, ruling that Raymond Epps failed to prove the network knowingly broadcast false information about the Capitol insurrection.

This second dismissal significantly weakens Epps' legal efforts to seek damages, as the court found insufficient evidence that Fox News knowingly broadcast false claims regarding the network's Jan. 6 coverage.
