Fears poachers have taken sugar gliders and bats from Darebin Parklands

More than 20 nest boxes for sugar gliders and microbats were damaged, leading to a loss of about 23 gliders, with suspected poaching behind the incidents.

Conservationists have raised the alarm after rangers discovered that boxes perched high on trees for sugar gliders and microbats had been dismantled twice in December.
