Fayette increases outstanding graduation rates

Georgia’s state-wide graduation rate continues to rise, and Fayette County Public Schools again improved on its scores. Fayette County, as a whole, posted a graduation rate of 95.3%, up from 94.47% a year ago.  State-wide the graduation rate climbed to 87.2%, an all-time high since the state began using the adjusted cohort calculation first required in 2011 by federal law.  All five county schools outpaced the state’s rate.
