York County Sheriff's deputies shoot, kill man with knife

FORT MILL, S.C. – South Carolina state law enforcement officials are investigating a deputy-involved shooting. The York County Sheriff’s Office says it happened last Friday at a home on Pine Ridge Court in Fort Mill. That’s where deputies saw 22-year-old Allan Topete-Guevara, who they say was armed with a knife. Deputies shot him and he died at the scene. This is the first officer-involved shooting at the York County Sheriff’s Office this year.
