The Marion County Farm Bureau Young Leaders held their first Rural Route Safety Day, teaching driver’s ed students how to safely share the road with farm equipment. Students from Sandoval, South Central, and Patoka got hands-on experience with tractors, combines, and semi-trucks to better understand visibility and turning limits. Organizers say patience from drivers can prevent serious accidents on rural roads.
