In a tribute message to Iain Douglas-Hamilton, founder of the NGO Save the Elephants, who died at the age of 83 in Nairobi on Tuesday 9 December, Professor Lee White, a Gabonese from British origin, former powerful water minister and forts of Gabon and inspiring and strong man of all environmental policies under Ali Bongo Ondimba, published this Friday a text in which he recalls his deep love for the elephants of Africa.
