Regarding the claims by the UP police, the accused allegedly told investigators that they had operated in a factory somewhere in Sonepat, the Sonepat police said the accused had been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police in Saharanpur and there was no official information about any raid by them in the Sonepat industrial area
Sonipat Fake Coin Racket Busted: A factory manufacturing counterfeit ₹20 coins has been busted in Sonipat's industrial area. According to Saharanpur police, this operation continued for approximately 14 months in a rented factory, and counterfeit coins worth approximately ₹70 crore were produced and circulated across the country.
Confusion arose in the investigation after the Sonipat police clarified that they had not received any official information about the UP police raid in Sonipat.
