Eastern Mass. man fatally shot former next door neighbor in driveway, prosecutors say

A South Coast man has been indicted by a grand jury on accusations that he fatally shot his former next-door neighbor in his driveway in June. Nicholas Botella, 33, of Fairhaven, was indicted Friday on one count of murder and five subsequent gun charges, according the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office. Botella is scheduled to be arraigned in Brockton Superior Court at a later date.
