Extremadura Records Two New Cases of West Nile Fever Reaching a Total of 64 People Infected

The Extreme Health Service (SES) has confirmed two new cases of West Nile fever in Extremadura. The victims are a woman and a man of 61 and 81 years of age, residents of Don Benito and Campo Lugar and belonging to the health areas of Don Benito-Villanueva de la Serena and Cáceres, respectively. Both have needed hospitalization and remain in the hospitals of Don Benito-Villanueva and Universidad de Cáceres.
