EXCLUSIVE: CBFC clears Drishyam The Conclusion WITHOUT a single cut; is 8 minutes longer than Drishyam 2
The film received a clean U/A 16+ certificate after the CBFC found no cuts or audio-visual changes needed, and it runs 150 minutes.
On Friday, October 2, 2026, the suspense thriller Drishyam The Conclusion hit theaters worldwide, marking the final chapter as actor Ajay Devgn reprised his role as Vijay Salgaonkar for the last time.
Tremendous audience excitement drove record-breaking pre-sales across India, with an industry tracker reporting over 400,000 tickets sold within 48 hours of advance bookings opening on September 27.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film features returning stars Tabu and Shriya Saran alongside newcomers Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj, with a 150-minute runtime shedding the remake tag.
Critics offered mixed reactions, praising Devgn and Ahlawat's performances while noting sluggish pacing; the film officially became Devgn's biggest career opener, surpassing his 2024 release Singham Again.
Confirming the franchise's end, Devgn stated, "I think we should put a stop right now," believing the story reached natural conclusion where writing further sequels would prove difficult.
