In July, a fire broke out in the historic Vaive school building in Cēsis municipality, which took away the home of five families in a few hours. Including Ilona Einika's family of six children. Now the house has no roof, household appliances and children's clothes are scattered around the building, damaged in the fire, but the exercise bike that helped her five-year-old son learn to walk remains inside.
