A beam of light created with spotlights crossed the sky of La Guaira, Venezuela, on Friday night, during a vigil in honor of the victims of the two earthquakes that hit the country a hundred days ago. About 400 people participated in the ceremony in a land where before there was a building that collapsed during the earthquakes.
According to the Government's last report of 24 August, the earthquakes left 6,509 dead; the number of missing persons is unknown.
