A support specialist with the Cancer Fund for Children has provided unique insight into her job which sees her visit the homes of families impacted by the diagnosis of a child or young adult, where she provides help not just to the diagnosed child, but to siblings and parents as well. Often, that support could be a simple trip to the beach or to grab a coffee, anything that makes them comfortable.
