Ireland has pulled out of next year's Eurovision Song Contest due to the "horrific and ongoing loss of life" in Gaza. The decision follows Dutch broadcaster AvroTros' announcement that it would boycott next year's contest because it was no longer in line with "credibility, independence and humanity".
Ireland will not participate or broadcast Eurovision in 2027 due to Israel's performance and the continuing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
