The European Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a probe into a possible misappropriation of EU funds, after a complaint alleged France's far-right Rassemblement National used European grants to benefit its leader Jordan Bardella, a source close to the case told AFP Thursday.
The European Public Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation after a complaint from AC!! Anti-Corruption, which accuses the RN of using European funds to finance media training for Jordan Bardella
The AC Anti-Corruption association accuses the party of using European funding for a training that would have benefited Jordan Bardella during the presidential elections of 2022.
The investigations concern media training which the RN would have financed with European funds for the benefit of Jordan Bardella.
