A terrible tragedy took place in Saint-Sébastien de Morsent, next to Evreux, on the evening of Thursday 20 August. Neighbors intervened during the fire of a dwelling in this commune of the Eure, and discovered the inanimate body of the occupant of the place: a 71-year-old lady. The gendarmerie investigation allowed the arrest of a resident of the commune, suspected of arson, and the rape and murder of the seven-year-old.
