European Council President Antonio Costa has openly acknowledged that the EU is not neutral in the Russia-Ukraine war, reaffirming Europe’s support for Kyiv’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Moscow has meanwhile accused Britain of direct involvement in the conflict over reports that London could share Storm Shadow missile blueprints with Ukraine.
The permanent President of the European Council, António Costa, summed up his visit to Kyiv on Monday on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, the Ukrinform news agency reported.
António Costa's visit to Kiev takes place at a meeting of the so-called "College of Good Will", which brings together mainly European countries allied with Ukraine.
The President of the European Council, Ant nio Costa, reaffirmed on Monday the support of the European Union during a visit to Kiev. Costa joined the European Parliament in celebrating the Independence Day of Ukraine and ensured that the EU would continue to support the country for as long as necessary.
