Magyar says EU must decide whether to 'survive or win'
Hungarian PM Péter Magyar told the Bled Strategic Forum that the EU faces a leadership crisis and must make crucial decisions on its future. He also criticised Brussels' daily migration fines against Hungary, calling them unfair despite a 2020 EU court ruling.
Four Central European prime ministers lamented in Bled, Slovenia, that Europe's golden age was over, that it was all a bureaucratic organization, but that our region could bring about renewal. Péter Magyar tried to share his own recipe for success.
According to the Prime Minister, however, constructiveness does not mean giving up on protecting Hungarian national interests.
Péter Magyar spoke about EU funds in Slovenia and also revealed what he told Ursula von der Leyen when they met in person. He said he didn't have to wait long for the frozen funds.
