In the EU, plans to transfer part of the functions of the European External Relations Service (EEAS) of the European Commission (EC) have begun, reporting on Wednesday
Germany wants to reduce the EU's External Action Service in favour of the Commission, which would make sense.
The European Commission is working on plans to dissolve the EU's external services and incorporate parts of it under the Commission. This is done following demands from France and Germany for a gagging review of Brussels' foreign policy before the end of the year.
