EU Chief Pledges Strongest-Ever Winter Support and Air Defense for Ukraine
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen pledged to provide Ukraine with its strongest-ever support package to help the nation navigate the harsh upcoming winter during her annual State of the European Union address to the European Parliament on September 16.

The manufacturers of the Patriot complexes need to expedite their delivery to Ukraine, said the Chairman of the European Commission of Ursula von der Layen to speak to the European Parliament. "It is urgent to hand over these missiles", she said and recalled that Brussels had previously provided additional funds for the purchase of such interceptors in the United States for Kiev.
