Patrícia Gonçalves Costa advocates a gradual reform of urban leases, with greater predictability for landlords and tenants and enhanced protection for the most vulnerable aggregates. The New Urban Lease System (NRAU) lowers for the specialty after the Socialist Party and gets to announce their vote against.
The only option for the measure still to be approved by Parliament is if the executive accepts that it be debated in the parliamentary committee of the specialty, taking advantage of the availability announced by the Squad and the PS
The government's bill to change the urban lease system was passed today in general in parliament, due to the abstention of the Squad, after the government has expressed willingness to negotiate "improvements" in the specialty.
Enough and PS left warnings to the government in advance of announcing the lead of legislative authorization for a new lease regime. Prime Minister guarantees not to be intimidated.
