President Vladimir Putin on Thursday condemned France's detention of a Russian-linked ship as "piracy", vowing a "significant" response to what he called European threats as tension flared.
Vladimir Putin denounced the “piratery” interception across the French coast of a suspected Russian fleet. The leader of Kremlin said that the ship was under foreign flag and claimed that he did not know if it had anything to do with Russia, accusing Paris that he was trying to "distribute attention" from internal problems, reports AFP, quoted by News.ro.
