Glastonbury Confirm Madonna Will Not Headline in 2027
Eavis said Glastonbury has already booked three 2027 headliners and dismissed months of speculation that Madonna would make her debut.
Glastonbury Festival organizer Emily Eavis ruled out Madonna for the 2027 festival, telling BBC Radio 4's PM programme, "No, it's definitely not Madonna, I'll tell you that."
Speculation intensified after Madonna told Graham Norton she had "something bigger" planned for summer 2027, with rumours aided by comments she made in June regarding her plans.
Addressing the rumours, Eavis noted that "pretty much 95% of the stories" about Glastonbury are false, adding, "we've got our headliners and we're cracking on."
Reports suggest Madonna could perform a record-breaking three-night stint at London's Hyde Park instead, while Glastonbury organizers are tipped to book Harry Styles and Sam Fender for 2027.
Returning in June 2027 after a fallow year, Glastonbury Festival will restore its cultural significance as Eavis said she hopes Andy Burnham will "recognise the arts and music as being a huge asset to Britain.
