On Wednesday in committee, MEPs adopted the Agricultural Emergency Bill. On the agenda: measures on water storage, collective restoration and rearing.
The Prime Minister had sent a "open letter to the farmers of France" in January, promising them a series of strong measures. Sébastien Lecornu rewritten them to tell them the Government's will to see the agricultural emergency bill come to an early conclusion.
The National Assembly's Committee on Sustainable Development has been seized on the merits of several articles of the draft law on agricultural protection and sovereignty, including the four on water. Several amendments have been made. Details.
