Elvis Presley’s Ex Ann-Margret Makes First Public Appearance Since Accident
The actress received a USO challenge coin honoring her years of service to American service members after canceling an autograph signing.
On April 29, actress Ann-Margret made her first public appearance since suffering a fall, attending an event at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills, California.
The 84-year-old performer had previously canceled an autograph signing after suffering a broken right elbow in a fall early last month.
She received a commemorative United Service Organizations Challenge Coin honoring her "years of service to American service members," making her the second recipient after Bob Hope.
The United Service Organizations marked 2026 as the 85th birthday for both the organization and Ann-Margret, united in their shared commitment to lift spirits and serve those who serve.
Ann-Margret's career includes filming Viva Las Vegas in 1963 with Elvis Presley, the "King of Rock and Roll," whom she dated for about a year and detailed in her 1994 autobiography.
