The number of building permits increased by 21.5% in June across Greece, with a 22.5% increase in surface area and +20.5% in volume
Construction activity returned to an upward trajectory in June after the dip it took in May, which turned out to be temporary, according to data from Hellenic Statistics.
In June, there was a 22.7% increase in the volume of private building activity, with 3,083 building permits. In the period July 2025-June 2026, an increase is recorded in permits, area and volume of buildings compared to last year.
