Tackling child abuse material on X (the former Twitter) was supposed to become Elon Musk's highest priority. But a joint analysis by The New York Times and the Canadian Center for Child Protection (CCCP) reveals that the platform is still failing miserably.
An investigation by The New York Times identified that the X still shows sexual images of minors generated by artificial intelligence, including creations made by Grok (AI assistant integrated into the social network). The Canadian Child Protection Center revealed that Grok responded to requests for sexualized creations and even with explicit content of children, including people who had already been recognized by authorities in previous cases. …
