On Saturday, kicker Vincent Blanchard set a CFL record with nine field goals as the Edmonton Elks defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 37-35 in overtime.
The West Division-leading Elks had won five of their last six games, while the Tiger-Cats entered having lost five consecutive games.
