Ilie Bolojan said that Romania absorbed more than 90% of the grants available through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and more than 95% of the loan component at the end of the program, whose deadline was August 31, 2026. The Prime Minister warned however that more than 2,000 projects could remain unfinished, and the works will have to be supported mainly from local budgets.
