At its meeting today, the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Egypt decided to keep the basic rates of return unchanged. The Committee confirmed the rates of deposit and lending for one night and the main operation of the Central Bank at 19%, 20% and 19.5% respectively, and the credit and discount rate at 19.5%.
