The European Commission and Ukraine decided on Thursday how to cover the budgetary and defence needs of Kiev for 2026, as stated in the joint statement of the parties." As far as 2027 is concerned, we agreed to move expeditiously towards the allocation of Euro45 billion in the framework of a loan to support Ukraine, subject to the requirements established," the document states.
Ukraine and the EU agreed on ways to cover Kiev's economic and defense needs for 2026, while also defining the necessary steps for the timely provision of resources, according to a joint statement.
