An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 struck Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The earthquake occurred at approximately 2:52 p.m. local time. USGS reported that the quake originated at a depth of 207 kilometers.
