An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 was registered in Karlsøy municipality on Ringvassøy on Wednesday at 17:01, according to EMSC. VG first reported the incident. The quake occurred around 68 kilometers north of Tromsø, at a depth of 17 kilometers. It is not yet known whether the quake caused any damage. Norsar informs NTB that they are working to investigate what happened.
