WEC: Peugeot sets the pace from the off at Fuji
Peugeot TotalEnergies emerged as the dominant force on the opening day of running at the 6 Hours of Fuji, with the French manufacturer topping both free practice sessions ahead of the penultimate round of this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship season
The first two free practice sessions of Fuji's 6 Hours allowed the Peugeot to get ahead. After a double in the first session, the no.93 signed the best time in the second.
Mikkel Jensen marked the best time in the Peugeot 9X8 in the second free practice of the sports car World Championship (FIA WEC) on the track in Fuji. With Porsche, Aston Martin, Toyota and Alpine five brands in the top five.
