Dump truck snaps pole in East Boothbay
Emergency personnel were called to a scene on Route 96 in East Boothbay this morning as a dump truck hit and snapped a utility pole near the intersection of Route 96 and Dodge Road near Smugglers Cove Inn. Traffic was stalled both directions as live wires were snapped and in the road. Central Maine Power is at the scene as well as Boothbay Fire and Lincoln County Sheriff personnel.
