- Criminal syndicates are using consolidated cargoes from the United Kingdom, often concealing substances in music speakers and hidden compartments to evade detection at airports and borders.
- Recent operational sweeps across seven states yielded major seizures: 32.20kg of Colorado at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, 157,100 tramadol capsules in Jos, and 876kg of cannabis in Bayelsa.
- NDLEA Chairman Mohamed Buba Marwa commended the officers involved and directed them to sustain pressure on drug cartels at airports, seaports, and land borders.
- Beyond enforcement, the agency is conducting War Against Drug Abuse sensitization programs in schools, workplaces, and communities, including advocacy visits to traditional leaders like the Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Shehu Chindo Yamusa III.
