A total of 595 packages of suspected cocaine were seized during a joint operation on the coasts of the municipality of Bani, Peravia province, in which three foreigners were arrested, the National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD) reported on Sunday.The detainees are two Colombian citizens and one Venezuelan, who were travelling on board a 32-foot-long Go Fast boat, equipped with two 115-horsepower engines each.
After several hours of persecution, the officers intercepted a 32-foot speedboat several nautical miles south of Punta Salinas beach, then arrested the three foreigners.
