On Sunday 16 August, the prefecture of Indre-et-Loire is further strengthening the measures against drought in the department. Every week, the map is more red, as the sectors in crisis become more numerous. These are those where irrigation rules are the strictest for farmers and where individuals cannot water the gardens from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (in addition to the ban on washing their car and adding water in a swimming pool).
