Istanbul Police Department teams conducted inspections in front of and around schools on the first day of the academic year. In Esenyurt, announcements were made to parents and students during a drone-assisted operation.
The District Police Departments, Community Policing and Traffic teams, under the coordination of the Istanbul Police Department's Children's Branch Directorate, carried out a simultaneous and drone-supported "School and Surrounding Area Security Operation" in 39 districts due to the start of the academic year.
With the start of the new academic year in Esenyurt, police teams have launched drone-assisted surveillance around schools. Teams made announcements from the sky and checked suspicious individuals and school buses.
