Dos Pueblos track & field’s Ashton Smedley made program history at the Meet of Champions Invitational on Saturday at Arroyo High School in El Monte. Smedley placed fifth in the mile race with a blazing time of 4:11.87 to beat out current teammate Owen Abbott, who set the record last week at the Nike Indoor Nationals.
