Don't follow Spain's mistakes on renewables

NB Power CEO Lori Clark has penned an urgent appeal for a new gas-powered generation plant in the Sackville area (“Generating facility vital to keep lights, heat on in N.B.,” Aug 28). While compelling, her op-ed offered little explanation of New Brunswick’s energy crisis. As the province clamours for a greener future, we must worry not only about the availability of solar and wind power, but also their reliability for on grid.
