The authorities say that, for the time being, the water supply of the population continues, but the situation requires saving resources.

Moldova must save its water reserves until autumn rains, on the bottom of severe hydrological drought and the continuous decline of the Nistru river level. Environment Minister Gheorghe Hajder says the authorities must reduce the pressure on water resources and prepare long-term solutions.
