Djokovic rallies past Zverev in thriller to reach China Open semi-finals

On Sunday, Novak Djokovic defeated top seed Alexander Zverev 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 at the China Open in Beijing, extending his unbeaten tournament record to 32 matches.
Meeting for the first time in nearly 16 months, Djokovic faced Alexander Zverev, the reigning French Open and US Open champion, who had pushed him to the limit early in the match.
A contentious moment occurred when Alexander Zverev complained about movement by an LED screen after hitting a forehand wide, prompting officials to replay the point to Djokovic's bemusement.
The turning point came late in the second set when Djokovic broke at 5-4 to level the match, then secured a decisive break at 5-4 in the third to seal victory.
Djokovic will now face Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals as he pursues another title at this ATP 500 event in Beijing.
