- On Dec. 12, Jim Harbaugh said he is "Still processing that like a lot of people, I'm sure" after learning from Chad Jessup about Sherrone Moore's firing following Chargers practice in El Segundo.
- Michigan fired Moore on Wednesday after an investigation found "credible evidence" of an inappropriate relationship with a staff member, prosecutor Kati Rezmierski says the breakup on Dec. 8 led to unwanted messages and officials being notified.
- Hours after his firing, Sherrone Moore was detained and booked into the Washtenaw Corrections Division, facing felony third-degree home invasion and two misdemeanors according to court documents and arraignment.
- At his arraignment on Dec. 12, Sherrone Moore appeared via video and was granted pretrial release with $25,000 bail, GPS tether, mental health treatment, and no contact with the alleged victim.
