Disruption to Sheffield train services as St Pancras evacuated
Met Police said the vehicle was non-suspicious after evacuating the station, while Eurostar and East Midlands Railway faced delays of at least 30 minutes.
On Tuesday, Metropolitan Police evacuated Pancras International after reports of an "unattended vehicle" near the station entrance prompted emergency response.
Officers conducted a "controlled explosion" on the vehicle, which was later declared non-suspicious by Metropolitan Police following investigation.
Eurostar departures and East Midlands Railway services faced significant disruption, with trains to Corby, Leicester, Derby, and Sheffield delayed by at least 30 minutes.
Emergency services established a cordon around Pancras Road, closing the Main and North Entrance while restricting Underground and mainline access to the station.
National Rail confirmed trains are running normally after customers were cleared to re-enter, though lingering delays persist across the network.
