For several days, young people have been demanding the improvement of the conditions of the educational institutions, since dozens of institutions are not suitable to receive classes, and more teachers.

Students from poorer neighborhoods claim that their schools are the hardest hit by problems in the education system. Seventeen-year-old Maisa from the suburbs of Paris, who wants to become an English teacher, joined the protests in front of the "Lycée Le Corbusier" school in Aubervilliers, north of Paris. "Last year, I took a French exam in high school without having a French teacher, and teachers have a huge influence," Maisa said.
France faces student protests over teacher shortages and overcrowded classes, with Paris strikes leading to widespread school disruptions and clashes.
