Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel declared the island will never again serve as a colony after Donald Trump published a map depicting Cuba under US sovereignty amid heightened tensions.
The White House tenant published a map in which the colors of the U.S. flag cover territories that include Mexico, Canada, Greenland, Iceland and the Caribbean region.
Cuban President Diaz-Canel said that Cuba will never become a colony again, following Trump's post showing the island as part of the United States on a map with the colors of the American flag.
