Parcel delivery company DHL has temporarily halted all deliveries in the north of the country due to the "code red" warning. Both parcel deliveries and the supply of sorting centers have been suspended for safety reasons in Friesland, Groningen, and Drenthe. In Flevoland and Overijssel, where a code orange warning is in effect, deliveries will only take place "if local weather conditions permit," a spokesperson reported.
