Determann wins Forest City City Council Special Election

The first special election in Forest City to fill an unexpired At Large seat on the City Council took place on Tuesday, March 17th. 166 votes were cast in the special election to fill the final 2 years of the unexpired term. Nicholas Determann was the unofficial winner with 93 votes. Richard William Sahr received 52, and Barbara Ruiter 21. The results are unofficial until canvassed by the Winnebago County Board of Supervisors.
