Destiny's Child Member Reveals Truth of Terrence Howard 'Romance' After Beyonce Claim
Farrah Franklin denies romance with Terrence Howard after his claim of dating a Destiny's Child member, describing their meetings as friendly outings, PEOPLE reported.
- In a statement to PEOPLE, Franklin said 'I’m Farrah with the natural green eyes , and I can confirm that Terrence and I had a few friendly outings—nothing romantic. She added: 'We went to the studio a few times, and I will say that Terrence is super talented! I won’t speculate on anything else that was said, and as always, I wish everyone well and remain focused on my own journey.'
- In the PBD Podcast, Howard said 'You know, I had a chance to date Beyonce early on' and said he 'ended up talking to' another Destiny's Child member, calling it 'very, very long ago'.
- During his recollection of the BET show, Howard said 'I remember Beyonc looking over at me, and I think that's why she picked me to do that dance' at the 2005 BET Awards.
- Howard's own past disclosures note that he admitted hitting his first wife Lori McCommas in 2001 and is a father of five, married four times and divorced 11 years ago.
- Given Destiny's Child's lineup changes, Franklin responded that 'Im Farrah with the natural green eyes , and I can confirm that Terrence and I had a few friendly outings' to correct Howard's claim about speaking with a member of the group, which initially included Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, with Michelle Williams and Franklin replacing the latter two before Franklin soon parted ways, leaving a three‑piece.
